How to get my business cards to print on Avery business card template?

Can you answer Sarah C's question about printing?:

I have a MacBook and I made business cards on Microsoft Word.

I'm trying to print them on Avery business cards template #8371

When I print them on regular paper, it prints perfectly how I want it.
When I print it on the Avery paper, it prints it on the top edge instead of where it needs to be.

How do I get it to work right?

Just curious: what is your business? I only ask because the homemade business cards are not a good impression - if your objective is to drum up business. It's best to order cards through a printing company. I highly recommend VistaPrint, which has an assortment of templates and different grades of paper stock to suit your budget.

Hope all goes well.

did you install the Avery label "add-ins" for word. It will help ensure the cards are spaced properly. A cd use to come in the package with the business cards but might now anymore. I'm sure you can download it from

Two ways that you could get this resolved. You can call Apple and they will walk you thru it. It has to do with your settings. Or you can get help at for business cards.
