Screen-printing?
Can you answer H.N.I.C.'s question about printing?:
My friend and I bought pants a few weeks ago that have letters screen printed (I believe that's what the woman called it… I'm not totally sure though.) onto the bum, and one of the letters is starting to come off.
Is there anyway for me to get it to stick back on, by ironing or anything? And if I can iron it on, do I have to place anything over the letter before doing so? When we got the pants, plastic letters peeled off of the actual letters, like they were stencils or something.

im sure you could iron it on..
put the pants down, and then put wax paper over the letters and just iron it.
hopefully it works!

If only one letter is peeling off - I suspect its either the first or last - then it is a vinyl stencil. Place some wax paper over it and iron it back on. You will need to apply a fair bit of pressure to get it to stick. If its only parts of the letter "flaking" off, then its screen printed and has not been cured enough in a dryer. As long as your iron can get to 320 degrees, do the same thing as with the vinyl without using a lot of pressure.
The skill becomes well tuned after a while but I was always ironing bits back on…:P
