Screen Printing?
Can you answer True1kidstarzz's question about printing?:
when you are done using you're screen you used for screen printing, are you "supposed" to clean it, or can you leave it as it is?
when you are done using you're screen you used for screen printing, are you "supposed" to clean it, or can you leave it as it is?
I heard you are supposed to wash it off in cold water and cold water only. Is that true? Also, what happens if I dont wash out the paint?

Yeah, just wash it off. :]
You definitely want to wash it after you use it. What ends up happening is the paint becomes harder to get off once it dries and depending on how long you leave it, it can either block out parts of your screen (which you wont notice until you run your next print) or can muddy up your other colors or leave "flakes" in subsequent prints. Cold water is recommended because it's less likely to effect the emulsion where it is the thinnest on your screen.
Washing your screen is just a good habit to get into.
be careful when washing, because i have had to re-coat the screen and re-expose it when some of the emulsion has been washed out.
