Screen printing is more expensive, that much I know.
Digital printing is more environment-friendly, using less resources, but the image isn't soaked into the fabric like screen-printed designs are.
Overall, digital printing is a ton more affordable…

If you want a dozen, definitely go digital. If you want hundreds, definitely screen print. If you want something in the middle, well, price em and see what works best.
Screen print will look better and last longer but costs a hell of a lot more to start the run. Actual cost depends on number of colors, size, quality, and complexity of the design.
