For quality photos, you want to get a printer with atleast 6 ink tanks.

At home, I use the Canon IP6700D. I've been pretty happy with this printer.

I've heard that Epson printers have a problem with ink clogging… but the paper is fine.
By the way, really good work. Waiting for the next one!

Both Epson and Canon printers are capable of excellent results,I have used both.My personal favourite is the Epson R2400,for up to A3+ prints,I use Epson's own inks and papers, although similar top grade papers are almost indistinguishable in quality. Many of my friends use the bottle delivery systems, but they have a much larger through put of prints. The black and white prints I produce are almost impossible to tell apart from my old silver prints, while the colour prints are so much easier than all the old chemical processes that I have used in over 40 years of professional and educational photographic work.
