when trying to print barcode the program shows numbers instead of the barcode?

using a custom software which prints barcode it shows numbers instead of the barcode !!

Read the documentation that came with the software. You may have to put an * before and after the number or it may be another character.
It sounds like the program is trying to use a code 39 font. But you don't have the code 39 font installed. That means when you try to type the numbers in your barcode, instead of getting the actual barcode font, the system will default to a standard font and you'll get the numbers instead of the barcode.
I would really believe you just don't have the font installed on your system. There are free code 39 fonts available. Check my link below on where to find one.
