Why are my Avery labels not printing correctly?

Can you answer Arabella's question about printing?:

I have some Avery address labels and I am trying to print them through MS Word. I selected the right template number, typed in my text and hit print but the labels print either too high or too low on the page which throws the whole thing off. I've wasted 2 sheets of labels on this! I've even tried my mom's printer and hers also shifts the text slightly.

Please help!

I am afraid there is something you are not mentioning here, if you choose the correct template in Word it should be working.

I have used that function in Word many times myself. Make sure that the paper is correctly placed as well (the margins are different at the top and bottom).

I suggest you check out the FREE software from Avery for making labels (see the source).
