How do you format printing labels which aren't half or full paged?

Can you answer whatsntomake's question about printing?:

How do you format printing labels which aren't half or full paged? It seems like microsoft word only supports the full paged ones. It also seems that inkjets seem to have a lot of trouble with non half or full sized printing labels.

If your printer is capable of printing envelopes it should be capable of printing smaller than full size pages. But it will be up to you to set the paper size in Word to the size of the backing and set columns or margins to match the label(s), unless whoever makes the labels has a template.

Inkjets may be more limited than lasers in how close they can print to some page edges.
