How do I order the pages for a catalog for printing on both sides of the paper?
Can you answer Rockstar's question about printing?:
I'm designing a catalog that's about 26 pages, plus front and back cover. Obviously I have to layout the pages so that when they are binded together, the pages flow in the correct order. My first page will have the front and back cover printed on one side, and the first and last page printed on the other. The second page will have the second and second to last page printed on one side, and the third and third to last printed on the other, and so on. How do I order the actual printed pages so that the printer will be able to work with them easier?

Example:
Print 1: Front: Front and back cover
Print 1: Reverse: 1st page and last page
Print 2: Front: 2nd page and 25th page
Print 2: Reverse: 3rd page and 24th page
And so on…
We're having this professionally done by an offset printing press.

I would say that the printing company that are choosing to perform this task for you would be the best place for you to go to for the correct answers
I agree with the posted above. If you are having this professionally done then why do you need to know how to order it? The surely will now how to set pages out so as long as you put 1,2,3 etc on them they will know that pages 1 and 25 will on the same page for back and then on the back of that will be page 2 and 24 and so on. If they can't figure that out then I'd go somewhere to get them printed.
But if you have to point it out, then I would say that it would be.
Page 1 and 25
Back of those pages 2 and 24
Page 3 and 23
Back of those pages 4 and 22
Page 5 and 21
Back of those page 6 and 20 and so on.
