What are the common sizes for printing catalogs, booklets and brochures?
Answered By Patrice Alce
Catalogs are commonly used in customizing
brochures, flyers or websites. The standard
printing size is "5-1/2 x 8-1/2," "8-1/2 x
11," "8-1/2 x 11," or "11 x 17."
The printing size of the booklet you will
produce depends on the type of booklet you
are to use. For instance you will be
producing coffee table books, and then its
standard size is 9" x 12". On the other hand
a gift book is normally printed within the
size range of 7-1/2" x 9", while a handbook
or fiction book printing size is 5-1/2" x
8-1/2".
A brochure has three separate printing
sizes which depend on usage. There is the
standard page size of "8-1/2 x 11," legal
page size of "8-1/2 x 14" and "11 x 17."
