Which paper should I use for Giclee printing?
Answered By Patrice Alce
The paper you will use depends on the type of
work you are to print since there are
numerous digital papers. For artworks, the
types of paper recommended for Giclee
printing are: (1) Arches and Somerset
enhanced watercolor paper; (2) Somerset
velvet; and (3) Hahnemuhle rag paper.
Be cautious on choosing photobase papers
since it poses disadvantage to Giclee
printing due to its diminutive dot gains.
