First, color printing is the most appropriate solution to be used in making colored documents. This printing solution is also known as full color printing. There are usually two types of full color printing 4 color printing and six color printing.

Both of these printing methods are ideal for any types of documents. But usually, most people prefer using 4 color printing or CMYK since it is cheaper.

4 color printing is based on the ink colors, namely, cyan, magenta, yellow and black. This involves a process wherein a color image is separated into the four different color values. This is done using filters and screens. This results in 4 separate color images. These colored images are then transferred to printing plates and printed out using the printing press with the colored ink. The original color image is reproduced.

Whereas in six color printing, also uses the four ink colors as four color printing, but with two more ink colors being added. These two include: orange and green. But both this printing method and 4 color printing have the same stages and arrangements of processes.

Before, printing documents in full color used to be expensive. But due to the certain progresses made in printing, what used to be expensive is now among the most reasonably priced printing method in the printing industry.

Now, full color printing can give many advantages to anyone who wishes to use them. For one thing, full color printing can make your brochures, postcards and other advertising, marketing and promotional documents contain vivid or vibrant colors.

Most full color printing services today use printing software that allows you to easily combine one color with another.
