Different Machines used for Flyer Printing

By Florante Chok Cay

Since then, the industry of flyer printing has been using machines. Flyer printing machines, often called flyer printers, have been a helpful tool in making wonderful flyer prints.

Through these years, many printing machines have been produced. Also, there were many adjustments and/or modifications that were made to these machines in order for them to become more helpful to their users. Plus, due to certain advancement in science and technology, there were also many printing machines that emerged throughout this decade.

However, due to these adjustments and the birth of new printing machines, many people are now confused of which printing machine they should use. What makes each flyer printing machine different from the other? What are the types of flyer printing machines used right now?

Well, quite frankly, printers are categorized in different ways. These classifications may be based on the type of people who used them, they type of printing method or process that they are involved in and the type of ink they use.

The first classification of printers used today is about home and commercial printers. Those used at home are nothing like those used for commercial purposes. How, you may ask?

* Well, for one thing, commercial printers are usually larger, physically, than home printers. Commercial flyer printing machines are also much more durable and much more expensive. These printing machines are also more dependable and can be used for large format printing. So what are the kinds of flyer printing machines?

Among the best commercial flyer printing machines used to produce professional flyers is called the offset printers. These printers are considered to be the older models of printing machines. They often end up to the second classification of printers.

Now, on to the second classification; printers are also classified according to the process they are involved in. These are among those printers;

* The offset printers; these printers are among the most reliable printing machines made by mankind! One of the greatest things about these machines is that they can print large numbers of flyers. When it comes to color reproduction, these flyer printing machines are capable of printing flyers with richer and more saturated colors.

* Another great type of flyer printer is called the digital printers. These types of printers are the products of the recent modifications made in the flyer printing world. Digital printers are machines that can rival the greatness of offset printing machines. They are faster and more accurate than offset printers because they are usually guided by computers. They also have lower set up and maintenance costs than traditional flyer printers.

The third classification is usually based on the ink they use.

* Among these types of printers are called the inkjet printers. These are flyer printing machines that that spray heated ink onto paper.

* Another type of printers is called laser printers. These are high quality image printing machines using laser beams to produce images on a light-sensitive drum.

There are still many other types of printing machines that are waiting for you to find out. Having knowledge about printers may also help you know which printing service is ideal for your flyers.
